Hello All,

I have one Doubt, can any one clarify this.

Two months back i have given a link add in high traffic & PR7 site homepage for 1month.
After 1month completed they have commented the link in html page instead of removing it. So in homepage of that site my link is not appearing now.
But daily i am getting some traffic from that site. How it is possible???

And is there any weight to comment link in html page instead of removing ?

Waiting for your replies.

Regards,

Possible that it is crawable... So did you track down where is your traffic coming from on that particular site? Maybe you are getting traffic but not particularly on their home page but rather on their sub-pages.

If that page is indexed or crawlable by search engine then you will get benefit in terms of traffic if it is nofollow and if it is dofollow than you will get some link juice too.
