Twitter Attacked

4 like 0 dislike
Popular site twitter got hit by phishing scammers.

Scammers have been taking control of users' accounts and sending direct messages to their followers. These messages include links to what looks like the Twitter sign-in page, but is actually a phishing site that will steal account information once a user has signed in, then add the user to the list of accounts being used to extend the phishing scheme.

Phishing has become a very large problem for the online world, I'll have to be careful since Im starting two very large things that Ive invested sufficiently into -- eCommerce and hosting, both businesses that are targeted by phishing a lot.

This is not good for security purpose and the website should take care of its users privacy.
