Why MSN change to Bing?

I never heard the news why Msn change to Bing.

I think MSN not a Search engine it stands for the Microsoft Network. and the old Search Engine is live now it's replaced by Bing, and i think Aim of Bing is beet to Google in Search Engine Industries!!!
