Multiple Sites On The Same Server I.P?

Question

I do a lot of affiliate marketing and have a dedicated server.

On the server, I have over 400 affiliate store sites (with different domains) using Wordpress, each selling different products, but most with the same general set-up/layout/template. I have tried to add individual content wherever possible, but generally the layouts are the same (with different products, title tags, etc).

My obvious question is relating to Google and how they see this.

Are the sites likely to be penalised for this in some way for being hosted on the same server?

I dont think same IP is a problem. Look at the shared hosting scenario, they run many sites on one IP and yet sites rank fine.

Lot of people use same wordpress blogs, I dont think that would cause any problem. I use several sites with same theme from same ip and all are doing ok.

So no worries.
