Hi, I have no idea why my laptop suddenly freezed..

It has happened a few times already. Basically, nothing I can except to abruptly hold the power button for a few seconds to abruptly shut it down.The model I am using is Acer Aspire 4736Z. Was it has to do with the hardware or some kinda virus? I have scanned it with AVG but nothing detected. This laptop is about 2 months old only, running on Window 7. Any hint?

It happened to me too. Everything froze like after I get into my desktop. I don't know exactly what's wrong and since it was still under warranty at that time I returned it to the store where I bought it and they were able to fix it. A blue screen might indicate a corrupted OS.
