How to get listed on DMOZ?

Over the years I have never been able to get listed on DMOZ because whenever I submit a site, I get a 'service temporarily unavailable' type message. I thought this time I would check every day, and I have done for 3 weeks now. I still get unavailable. I have also tried different places to submit, some completely different but always the same message.

On the Dmoz forum, they say stop hassling them and be patient. But this has been going on for years for me (on and off).

Has anyone got listed on DMOZ and how did you do it?

just submit your site then forget it.

Too late now I think so. DMOZ is already tired and old now. And they are slowly closing the gates. New submissions are not even accepted in. Let alone the review and approvals of the new sites.

BTW when they were taking new submissions then also they were not doing anything with it. It was very very hard to get accepted. And now it seems impossible.
