Few simple questions

4 like 0 dislike
#1: If my link was on a page (forum) that got indexed by google, when I go and edit the post to take the link out will google take that page where my link was out when people search for my site?

#2: For a backlink, does it matter if it's a text link keyword for example: anchor text or is it better to just have the URL?

Thanks.

1. Depends on their cache. If google index your updated page before any related search displays, then the link will not be there and vice versa.

2. As what has mentioned by StudioWorks, always have a descriptive targeted keyword for link text.

Hope it helps

Thanks
