How do I determine SERP for my site?

5 like 0 dislike
I have tried the Google Webmaster tools for one of my sites and it shows my site ranking 18th under one keyword but I noticed that is only in the Google Image search. I don't see the site in first 10 pages of the regular Google search.

How can I determine the SERP for my site? I don't care right now if it is in like 40,000th place. At least, it would give me a number so I can determine if my ranking is improving or not.

Use this FireFox extension to check where your site ranks for specific keywords.

Google only reports 1000 results for a given search query, so it only goes to 1000.
