What is Fake PR?? Give any example?

Any tell me what is fake PR(Page Rank) and how it works. Please mentions any example on fake PR.

Fake pr is  where someone buys a dropped domain that still has pr3 for example, then they build a new site on it the greeen bar still says 3 but when you cache the page it will show the old site, when the new site is cached by google the pr will usually go to n/a as it would start at with any new site

Fake Page rank is becoming a very serious problem. When somebody is offering a domain name for sale, they can synthetically increase the domain’s PageRank. It is achieved when fraud domains use a 301 or 302 redirects which point their websites to sites with a high PR. This is a well-known trick in the SEO world, but people who aren’t familiar with Search Engine Optimization are most likely to fall for this.

A website can have a fake PR when the Page Rank returned from the Google servers is actually the Rank of a other site. A website with fraud PR has mainly tricked Google into believing it’s really another website on the net and then Google assigns both sites a identical PageRank score.
