Why Font differences between two computers?

5 like 0 dislike
Hello
I've been working in PaintDotNet on two different computers, a Dell Inspiron laptop and an IBM ThinkPad. When I changed a piece of text on the IBM, the font has some differences. In both cases, I selected Verdana font at 14 point. The text done on the IBM is crisper and blacker than the text done on the Dell. Is this normal? Is there any way to minimize these differences?
please reply me. i am waiting for your reply.
Thanx

Actually the font size , boldness and family difference on each machine(system). There is no way to remove this difference, I think the difference is due to hardware used in those machine, Mac OS and windows OS are more differ in fonts boldness.
