Javascript menus & SEO

5 like 0 dislike
I was just wondering how Javascript menus affect how search engine spiders crawl your website.

If you take a look at the site I run (link in my signature), you can see the menu has got quite cluttered as new content has been added.

If I was to implement a JavaScript menu (hovering over a link brings up a sub-menu), would search engine spiders be able to crawl this menu structure as easily as the simple one I have now?

Let me know if you need me to explain my question better. Cheers!

None of the search engines read javascript - so anything to add any keywords will be a waste of time. (SEO wise)
