Just Something I Wanna Try

Heres something I wanna try, please see if there is a way I can do it and tell me how if you know please.

Lets say I have 5 sites, and I have the site XYZ.com as well. The 5 sites are getting over 2000 page impressions a day, they have great traffic. The site XYZ.com is getting about 50 page impressions in the same amount of time, it has very very low traffic.

I want this to happen: Every time someone goes to one of the 5 sites with high traffic, they should be redirected to XYZ.com for 5 or 10 seconds, and then brought back.

How can I do that?

AdBrite ads does that, I don't know if you have seen that.

Without looking at technical details I think they use HTML frames and JavaScript to do this. On top of the page they put skip this page button, so if use wanna continue with the site they wanted to be they can.

You can handle redirects via HTACCESS easily if your hosting supports it.
