Important factors in free directory

Hi,

Which factors do you consider while submitting free directories?

>> Maintain good categories
>> Pages indexed in goggle
>> Directory doesn't have adult advertisements

My preferences are -

No linked with adult, drug, casino related websites.
Internal pages should be cached.

Total number of indexed pages, categories crawled and the crawling frequency should be good. The site should not have links with adult sites, gambling and any other sites that offer something similar content. Also the quality of sites inside the directory matters a lot.

The page where I am going to submit should be indexed by G. That's all for me.

A free directory should still be discerning in the types of website that it accepts and links to but it should also actively accept and review submissions. So many free directories seems to live for a short while and then lapse.

I don't really spend much time looking at the directory but two important things are:
1. no adult links
2. Good PR.
