Visual Basic (VB)
I've downloaded Visual Basic Express from Microsoft and registered it.
Now, I can't find any good tutorials on Visual Basic! php makes more sense than that crap.

Can anyone help me find a good tutorial or take some time to give me examples and such? That would be appreciated.

Visual Basic is NOT the route you want to go down; It's very different from what you currently know and, as by the name, it's made for BEGINNERS.

If you're used to PHP, go down the C#.net route instead. Similar syntax is the major bonus, and it does everything VB.net can do, but I guarantee you'll learn it faster.

Personally I find that VB's syntax alone would make me prefer flinging myself off a cliff before going back to THAT language.

you should jump on the C# train as Arkinstall said, infact it dose everything VB dose, and more Smile

C# derives from C, same way php came, from C Tongue so it will be a lot easier to learn(I approached VB and C# at the same time with both BASIC, Pascal, and PHP behind me) I grabbed C# a lot quicker Smile
