Which branded laptop is best for linux?

I want to buy a laptop. And this laptop will be high configuration and famous branded. My favorite operating system is Linux. So my question is, Which branded laptop is best for linux?

Try IBM or HP - being active supporters of OS and Linux - compatibility is always quite good.

I was always happy with my Dell Inspirons. Never tried to get the internal modem working, everything else worked like a charm with linux.

I have SONY laptop. And I have linux there. I have to say everything works great.

My pc is pentium 4 and Ram is 256,i use LINUX OS and it is running good so i think any Laptop higher requirments them mine can run nice LINUX OS..
