when using Traffic Vance Server promptings for Prosper202 and Landing Pages ?

Hey,

I have tested like 10 different offers, all email submits, short forms and surveys and have had horrible results (almost NO actions) on Traffic Vance

This led me to think that when I tested my link in the TV interface...it popped and propigated really slowly so I started thinking that my poor results were due to the fact that my "ads" were popping to slowly and taking to long, causing peeps to just close them before seeing them?

So I addressed this with TV and they are telling me that it is probably because my prosper tracking is on a shared host that the pops are delayed?

So I wanted to know if anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what dedicated host are you now using to resolve it?

In addition, with my own dedicated server, do I need my own landing pages on the dedi server too just to be safe when covering the pop speed issue or is just putting prosper202 on it and still direct linking ok??

Im worried the direct link could still cause a pop speed issue with the advertisers landing page and I dont know if this is a valid concern or not?

Yes, you can use prosper. I have set that up my self for MediaTraffic and Neverblue funnily enough. I don't really use PPV much right now, but what I did was use prosper to cloak my traffic and track the "targets" that converted to leads without exposing them to the merchant.

I have to warn you, in my experience, prosper does not appear to be that accurate for tracking the amount of views your landing page gets, but it is great for cloaking and keeping track of overall conversions.
