Best & Smooth Effects - CSS, AJAX?

9 like 0 dislike
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how certain effects are done. I have a few examples. I'm guessing that they're done with either CSS or AJAX, but I could be wrong.

The first one is on the jumpeyecomponents.com website. On the middle of the page there are three tabs, when you click on a tab new data is shown without reloading the page.

The next one is on kvraudio.com. When you click on any of the items in the news section on the main page it plays an animation of the full content expanding. Another thing is when you hover over these elements, even on the right side of the page where the recent forum posts are the background of that post or news even is highlighted.

The next one I'm trying to figure out is from a website that I remember seeing, but I don't remember the URL. It had a large image on the top of the page and when you clicked the arrow on either the right or left side of the image, it rotated to a new image with this cool bouncy effect.

Anyone know how these effects are accomplished? Any help is much appreciated!

It sounds like all of these effects are done with a little CSS and Javascript. Here is a semi-decent tutorial of how its done. They could be done in a similar way using AJAX
